Frequently asked questions.
Where do you deliver?
We supply customers across South Africa and extend our services into the SADC region, supported by our office in Kitwe, Zambia. Illuminating paraffin can be delivered in large volumes countrywide.
Which fuels do you supply?
Petrol, diesel, LP gas and illuminating paraffin, plus Jet A1, industrial fuels, light boiler fuel and heavy furnace oil (HFO 150 and 180).
What pack sizes are chemicals available in?
Powders typically come in 25 kg bags, with 1-tonne bulk bags available. Liquids come in 25 litre polycans, 200/210 litre blopacs or metal drums and 1 000 litre IBCs. Bulk products travel by 28–37 tonne road tanker or 32–34 tonne interlink.
Can you blend a chemical to a specific concentration?
Yes, where it falls within our scope. Examples include caustic soda lye from 10 to 49%, hydrochloric acid from 5 to 33% and sulphuric acid from 5 to 98%.
What is your B-BBEE level?
Dinotic Energy is a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor, which gives you 135% procurement recognition on your spend with us. Our certificate is available on the Company page.
Are you ISO certified?
Yes. We hold ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environment) and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety) certification.
Do you offer a pump-over service?
Yes. We can pump product over from IBCs at your site, so no packaging deposit applies. A site inspection is done beforehand.
